Is Your Soul Tired?

Our lives can be full even when our souls are running on empty.

We move from one responsibility to another, caring for people, accomplishing good work, and keeping up with everything that needs our attention. Underneath all that activity, we may barely notice how restless we've become.

Psalm 62 offers a simple invitation:

"Truly my soul finds rest in God."

Find Rest will help you step away for one unhurried hour to slow down, become present, and explore what it might mean for your own soul to find rest in God.

An Unhurried Hour with God

Unhurried Time with God is our way of describing the ancient Christian practices of solitude and silence.

We call it solitude, but we aren't really alone. We are alone with God.

We call it silence, but we aren't trying to empty our minds. We are becoming quiet with God.

Jesus regularly stepped away from the needs and activity around him to be with his Father. Find Rest gives you an opportunity to follow his example and make a little room to simply be with God.
