Gem Fadling is a founding partner of Unhurried Living. She is a trained Spiritual Director and a Certified Life Coach who trains people at the intersection of spiritual leadership and soul care.

Doug Flaig
Board Chair
Doug Flaig brings a deep Christian faith and decades of business leadership to the organization. A graduate of Biola University, Doug also serves on the elder board at Agoura Bible Fellowship.
He is currently the CEO of Stratus Building Solutions, where he leads with a commitment to integrity, principle-centered growth, and servant leadership. Doug and his wife, Sabrina, live in Simi Valley, California and are the proud parents of five grown children.

Jane Couperus
Board Secretary
Jane Couperus joined the Unhurried Living board in early 2025 after engaging with the ministry as a client for several years. Jane brings extensive experience in wealth management and philanthropic advising to her board service.Â
A graduate of Pacific Union College (BBA) and Arizona State University (MBA), Jane currently serves as the Director of Planned Giving at California State University, Bakersfield. She lives in Bakersfield, California and worships at All Saints Anglican Church.
